SMAP – Networks have been set up with the manifesto of providing active interaction for Accounting Professionals and Training Service Providers (Institutes) among themselves, their potential SME clients and with Banks.

The Network provides SMEs with a platform to receive standardized services and trainings on SMAP orientation and implementation at their business locations in order to make them more efficient thereby more bankable. SMAP Networks consist of the following types of Service Providers:

Accounting Professionals: Service Providers

Currently, a large number of Service Providers (SPs) of accounting and bookkeeping services are already facilitating SMEs for both manual and software based record keeping. Such service providers include accounting students, accounting professionals and firms.

Best practice rating of SPs on the basis of their performance

Support for marketing of services through SMEDA Regional Offices
Access to dedicated, web based marketing and coordination system: providing marketing support to accounting professionals
Training support for SME Clients

Accounting Training Institutes: Training Service Providers (TSPs)

This segment includes institutes that specialize in providing training services to Accounting Professionals.

SMAP registered TSPs will provide trainings to Accounting Professionals, Students and SMEs on a Standardized Curriculum designed and developed by SMEDA.
